Brazilian international Willian has officially signed a new contract with Fulham, securing a one-year deal with an option for an additional 12 months.
The 34-year-old winger, known for his previous stints at Chelsea and Arsenal, had an impressive season with Fulham last year, scoring five goals in 27 appearances in the Premier League.
Following the conclusion of his previous contract, Willian visited the Nottingham Forest training ground, sparking speculation about his future.
However, he has now confirmed his commitment to Fulham, expressing his happiness to extend his stay with the club.
In a statement to the club’s website, Willian said, “Happy to sign one more year with Fulham. Happy to continue the work that I did last season with all my teammates and the whole club. I think it’s a club that can do even better this season.”
