Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, expressed her need for the assistance of the wives of state governors in reaching every corner of the country.
she said this during a meeting in her office, on Friday, when she officially introduced and familiarized them with the goals and mission of her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
In a statement by her spokesperson, Busola Kukoyi, Mrs. Tinubu emphasized the importance of collective action and learning from the past to shape a brighter future. She assured the governors’ wives that the RHI would not interfere with their personal programs and projects.
She believed that their support would have a significant impact.
Mrs. Tinubu reminded the governors’ wives that their current positions were opportunities to make meaningful contributions, not only in the lives of people within their states but also across Nigeria as a whole.
She also congratulated them on the successful conduct of the 2023 elections that brought their husbands into office and urged them to fulfill the promises made during the electoral campaigns.
Amb. Olufolake Abdulrazak, the wife of the Kwara State governor, spoke on behalf of the governors’ wives, assuring their willingness and commitment to support the project.
