Former Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, has embarked on a new endeavor as he assumes the position of Global Advisor for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
Confirming the news via a series of tweets on Tuesday, Osinbajo expressed his enthusiasm for the role.
In his capacity as Global Advisor, Osinbajo will lend his expertise to GEAPP’s noble mission of expediting the deployment of clean energy solutions in developing nations.
His primary focus will revolve around supporting GEAPP’s collaborative efforts with governments to foster an enabling environment and bolster the efficacy of clean energy initiatives. Through these measures, the aim is to facilitate faster and more substantial capital investments in the clean energy sector.
Eagerly sharing the announcement, Osinbajo revealed, “I am thrilled to announce my appointment as Global Advisor to the esteemed Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet @EnergyAlliance.”
