An outbreak of Lassa fever has claimed the life of a nurse treating patients at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakiliki, Ebonyi State. Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, through Aliko Dangote Foundation, has launched distribution of free meals to no fewer than 10,000 fasting Muslims in Kano state, his state of origin.
