The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has approved the establishment of a Digital Economy Centre in Kafanchan, headquarters of Kaduna South. This is contained in a letter by Dr Mohammed Kumo, the Head of Project Management, NITDA on Wednesday in Kafanchan. The Kano command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it arrested 10 suspected drug dealers operating in different parts of the state in July alone. Mr Sadiq Maigatari, the state NDLEA Public Relations Officer, said this in a statement on Wednesday in Kano. Boko Haram fighters have reportedly captured 60 terrorists belonging to the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP), including three commanders of the group. The identified commanders are Abubakar Saddiq, Abou Maimuna, and Malam Idris.
