Jika, passed away after enduring continuous starvation and malnourishment for over two weeks. The Katsina State Government has disbursed N20 million to support 33 families of local vigilantee members who lost their lives in the line of duty. Governor Dikko Radda announced this during the presentation of cash to the victims’ families in Katsina on Saturday. The Katsina State Police Command has apprehended 15 suspects involved in various criminal activities, including kidnapping and fraud, based on credible intelligence. The suspects were publicly paraded at the Command Headquarters in Katsina, with Police Spokesman ASP Abubakar Sadiq providing details of the arrests. The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Kogi State Specialist Hospital (KSSH), Lokoja, has called the attention of the State Government to the expiration of the 21 days ultimatum given to it to meet its demands. In a tragic incident, suspected bandits launched a deadly assault on worshippers at a Mosque in Saya-Saya village, located in the Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State resulting in the death of seven villagers.
