The North-East Development Commission (NEDC) has presented palliatives worth N15b to the six states in the region, according to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). The states are Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Gombe, Bauchi and Taraba states. Not less than 15 people lost their lives when a boat carrying passengers, including children, capsized in Adamawa State on Friday evening.
