The Katsina State Government has announced a ban on all forms of large religious, social and other forms of night gatherings in the state. The Borno Government has approved the release of over N73 million for the payment of registration fees for orphans of volunteers who lost their lives while assisting security agencies in the fight against insurgents. The Appeal Court in Abuja has scheduled Saturday for the adoption in the governorship appeal brought by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nentawe Yilwatda, against Governor Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Jigawa government has earmarked N360 million for the rehabilitation of 14 schools damaged by wind storm. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna Zonal Command said it recorded 522 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) from 2021 to 2023 during the ember months in Kaduna State. The Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Kano State Chapter, said it received 297 cases from January to October in the state.
