Nigeria’s food sub-index for September 2023 has increased to 30.64%, marking a substantial rise of 7.30 percentage points compared to September 2022, when it stood at 23.34%, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has said. The Acting Chairman of Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Ignatius Raymond, has revealed that the council generated only N20m in 2022.
