The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says the average retail price of a litre of petrol increased from N191.65 in September 2022 to N626.21 in September 2023. The Jigawa government has distributed food items to 16,000 less privileged persons in Malammadori Local Government Area of the state. Defence Headquarters says troops of the armed forces have in one week rescued 53 kidnapped hostages, neutralised 37 and apprehended 124 terrorists across the country. The Kwara House of Assembly on Friday in Ilorin passed the state’s 2023 Revised Supplementary Budget of N256.6 billion, against the initial N239.08 billion. The Federal Government, on Friday said it had trained 2,785 youths and empowered them with skills to build Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in the last one year. The Coroner’s inquest into the death of Adebola Akin-Bright, the 12-year-old boy whose small intestine reportedly went missing, started on Friday at an Ebute-Meta Chief Magistrate court sitting in Lagos.
