Nigerians’ pasta consumption has increased by 320 per cent in the last one year, insights by Glovo Nigeria reveals. The Israeli Army has again attacked several suspected terrorists, and the infrastructure of the Palestinian Islamist organisation Hamas in the Gaza Strip, it said on Wednesday. A Hamas official warned on Tuesday that there would be no more hostage releases by the Islamist group unless medical supplies and fuel are allowed into the besieged Gaza Strip. The Nigerian Army on Tuesday in Abuja commenced the 2023 Inter-Formation Combat Obstacle Crossing Competition for troops drawn from various Divisions, Formations and Units. The competition which is a real-time battlefield simulation exercise and activities, has 320 troops, 40 each from a total of seven Army Divisions and the Army Headquarters Garrison, participating. The Russia Government has officially denied an internet report which claimed President Vladimir Putin suffered a heart attack. “There is nothing wrong with him. As usual, this is a hoax,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, according to local media reports. An Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Tuesday sentenced the embattled Medical Director of Optical Cancer Care Foundation, Dr Olufemi Olaleye, to double life imprisonment for defiling 16-year-old wife’s niece.
