The Federal Government of Nigeria has outlined ambitious plans to increase revenue from Value Added Tax (VAT) over the next three years, to N35 trillion in 2024, N40 trillion in 2025, and N45 trillion in 2026. A tense hostage situation is currently underway at Hamburg Airport in Germany after an armed man forcibly breached security and drove onto the airport’s tarmac.
