The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has deployed its personnel to monitor the Saturday’s governorship elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo States. The Police Command in Ogun says it has arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly raping a drunk 16-year-old girl at Adubi area in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state. A recent report by SBM Intelligence, a geopolitical research and communications consulting firm, reveals that five in 10 Nigerians witnessed a growth in their income over the past four years. Power Minister Adebayo Adelabu has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Distribution Companies (DisCos) and Generation Companies (GenCos), stating that they will be mandated to sign performance bonds with the government.
