The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says the average retail price of a litre of petrol increased from N195.29 in October 2022 to N630.63 in October 2023. It made the declaration in its Petrol Price Watch for October 2023 released in Abuja on Wednesday. Mr Nyesom Wike, Minister of the FCT says the FCT Administration has pegged the cost of issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy (C- of-O) at N5 million. An FCT High Court on Wednesday admitted the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele to bail in the sum of N300 million. Justice Hamza Muazu also ordered Emefiele to produce two sureties in like sum.
