The fire which reportedly started in the early hours of Wednesday, January 15 2025, was later put out by the combined efforts of staff and good Samaritans from the neighbourhood. Tragedy struck in the Takie area of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, on Tuesday, when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle, killing three people. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), says it has generated N102.5 billion revenues in the Kano/Jigawa Command in 2024.
