Dr Olufolakemi Cole-Adeife, a consultant dermatologist, has described lightening or toning of children’s skin as a child abuse capable of damaging internal organ. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has kicked against the N5 billion per state palliative package recently released by the federal government to states, aimed at alleviating the impact of the fuel subsidy removal. Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe has approved the payment of N667 million to 475 pensioners across the 17 local government areas of the state. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has unveiled a foreign exchange price verification system design to grant importers access to forex.
