The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Isah Ashiru, challenging the election of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State. Police in Bauchi State have arrested a 400-level student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi for alleged possession of illegal firearms. The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, on Wednesday, launched a special team tagged the ‘Special Intervention Squad’ to reduce the spate of kidnappings in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
