It is reported that Ehie, a known supporter of Governor Similanayi Fubara, had previously hindered efforts to initiate impeachment proceedings against the governor. Rivers State House of Assembly Chamber has been set on fire,  by suspected arsonist. The fire coincides with rumors circulating about a purported plan to impeach Governor Similanayi Fubara. According to sources, the arsonist gained access to the chamber on Sunday night, setting it ablaze. The Police Command in Enugu State has smashed a child-stealing syndicate and arrested a suspect at Igogoro village in Enugu-Ezike community of Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of the state. NDLEA has intercepted more than six tons of skunk in Ondo, Oyo, Lagos, Edo and Gombe states.
