Kano State Governor, Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed sadness over the death of Barrister Halliru Danga Maigari, a one time Majority leader, Kano State House of Assembly, who passed away this evening after a protracted illness.
According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf described the deceased as a legal luminary and a Community leader who immensely contributed towards the development of his immediate Community, his local government and Kano State.
The Governor said, ” it is with heart packed with sorrow but totally submissive to the will of Allah that we received the sad news of the death of Barrister Halliru Danga Maigari after a protracted illness.

“On behalf of the government and good people of the the state, we wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, people of RiminGado,Kano State and may Almighty Allah SWT grant his soul eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode” the Governor prayed.
Late Barrister Halliru Danga Maigari was described as a staunch supporter of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) whose contributions was appreciated by the party’s stakeholders at his constituency (RiminGado) and beyond.
