The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that Solomon Destiny, a 200-level student of Animal Breeding and Genetics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), who had been reported missing, has been found alive and is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital.
This update was provided by SP Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the state police command.
In a brief message to journalists, she expressed gratitude for their swift actions and proactive efforts in spreading the news.
It read, “Thank you, esteemed members, of the press, your swift and proactive actions came to bear and I am very grateful for the widespread.
“I am happy to announce before you all that our beloved 200-level student has been found and is alive but currently receiving treatment.”
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports that student had gone missing from the Ogboja village in the Oluwo-Osiele axis of Abeokuta, prompting concerns from the university’s Students’ Union Government.

They had appealed for useful information to help locate him.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Directorate of Public Relations at FUNAAB, Mr. Kola Adepoju, confirmed the incident and assured everyone that the university’s management and security agencies were actively involved in efforts to locate and safely return the missing student to his parents and colleagues.

“We want to assure the parents or guardians of our student that is missing, ditto his colleagues and the public, in general, that the university and security agencies are doing the needful to find him and bring him back to his parents and colleagues safely.”
Adepoju while confirming the cheering news to our correspondent said “Information is still scanty right now. I will get back later. Thank you.”
