A 30-year-old man, Prosper Igboke, has tragically lost his life after jumping from a two-storey building in Nnewi, Anambra State.
Igboke, a pastor at a Pentecostal church and a native of Umunneochi, Abia state, reportedly took the drastic step following a heart break involving his romantic partner.
According to an undisclosed family member, the woman, who had been trained through her university education by Igboke, declined his marriage proposal.
This profound disappointment reportedly led him to take his own life.

The source revealed: “The incident happened last month. The man was 30 years old at the time of his death. His girlfriend, whom he intended to marry disappointed him after seeing her through the university.
“He jumped down from a two-storey building and died. I am surprised that a man of this age and a pastor can do this.
“He will be buried in a forest for committing sacrilege according to the tradition of Leru autonomous community of Umunneochi LGA in Abia state
Tragically, GOOD EVENING NIGERIA learnt that Igboke was buried in a bush within his community.
