The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has appointed Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, a prominent Kano politician and medical consultant, as its new Director General.
The announcement was made by TSG leader, Honourable James Faleke, during a gathering in Abuja. Faleke stated that Yakasai’s appointment was a unanimous decision aimed at strengthening the group’s credibility and advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai is a seasoned professional whose competence and dedication to service make him a valuable asset to our cause,” Faleke said. “Our expectations of him are high, as he is among the few capable of delivering on this mandate ahead of the 2027 elections.”
He called on TSG members to rally behind Yakasai and support him in achieving the organization’s objectives.

The appointment was confirmed in a statement issued by TSG and made available to Good Evening Nigeria on Saturday.
