The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 3,542 operatives to ensure the protection of lives and properties of Kano residents during the festive season.
According to SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command’s public relations officer, the operatives will provide security around Christian worship centers, recreational spots, and strategic locations across the state.

The operatives will work closely with traffic enforcement agencies to ensure seamless traffic flow during the festive period. Additionally, the NSCDC will maintain 24-hour surveillance and protection of critical infrastructure across the state, warning miscreants to refrain from causing a breach of public peace.
In case of any disruptions, defaulters will face the full wrath of the law. This deployment is part of the NSCDC’s efforts to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for Kano residents during the festive season.
