An APC stalwart, Hon. Garba Bala, has congratulated the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR, on the elongation of his tenure.
Hon. Bala described the decision, ratified at the APC National Working Committee (NWC) meeting on February 25, 2025, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, and presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a well-deserved recognition of Ganduje’s leadership qualities and contributions to the party’s success.
“This decision reflects the party’s unwavering confidence in Dr. Ganduje’s ability to lead APC to greater heights. Since assuming the position on August 3, 2023, he has demonstrated outstanding leadership, ensuring party stability and guiding APC to remarkable victories in key elections,” Hon. Bala stated.

Since taking over as APC National Chairman, Ganduje has played a key role in consolidating party structures and ensuring electoral victories. Hon. Bala highlighted his success in off-cycle governorship elections, where APC secured wins in Imo, Kogi, Edo, and Ondo states.
“Under his leadership, APC has strengthened its electoral strategies, built a more united front, and expanded its political influence across Nigeria,” Hon. Bala noted.
He further commended Ganduje’s efforts in party reconciliation, particularly in settling internal disputes and fostering unity among APC stakeholders.
“With Ganduje’s political experience and leadership, APC is in a strong position to consolidate its gains and prepare effectively for future elections,” Bala emphasized.
Hon. Bala, in his concluding remarks, expressed confidence that Ganduje will continue to lead the party toward greater achievements, ensuring APC remains Nigeria’s dominant political force.
