KSPPM Applauds Governor Yusuf’s Commitment to Equity and Inclusive Governance

Abdu Sa’id, Kano

The Kano State Political Progressive Movement (KSPPM), under the leadership of Alhaji Abdullahi Isah, has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his commitment to inclusive governance and ensuring that all stakeholders in the state are carried along in his administration.

Speaking to journalists in Kano, KSPPM chairman has complimented Governor Yusuf’s leadership style, which he said represents equity and inclusiveness, particularly among members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) across the state.

The chairman noted that KSPPM members were pleased with the governor’s efforts, particularly during the launching of a 40-bed hospital in Zarewa, Rogo Local Government Area. The hospital, initiated by Senator Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, OFR, PhD, was commissioned by Governor Yusuf as part of his commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure in the Kano South District.

The hospital was designed to cater to over 20,000 patients and is equipped with modern laboratory services, routine immunization, and antenatal care programs, further strengthening primary healthcare delivery in the region.

“I appreciate the leadership style of Governor Yusuf, who has made it a priority to incorporate everyone in the state while executing gigantic projects aimed at improving the lives of Kano State residents,” Alhaji Isah stated.

Recalling how the governor had witnessed the distribution of hospital beds, school chairs, and desks at Yankaba last year as part of the Kawu Sumaila constituency project drive to improve healthcare and education infrastructure.

Governor Yusuf’s government has continued to prioritize the rehabilitation of hospitals, provision of essential medical equipment, and recruitment of healthcare professionals to ensure that Kano residents have access to quality medical care.

As part of his address, Alhaji Isah urged politicians to emulate Senator Sumaila, whose constituency projects have positively impacted education, healthcare, and agriculture in Kano South. He stressed the need for political leaders to focus on developmental initiatives that directly benefit their constituents.

In a similar event, KSPPM recently called a press conference to urge Governor Yusuf, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the national leader of the NNPP, and other party stakeholders to resolve internal conflicts that are compromising the party’s unity.

Alhaji Isah underlined that political stability and NNPP unity would guarantee that Governor Yusuf’s administration stays committed to providing Kano residents with meaningful initiatives.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s leadership has ushered in a new era of inclusive governance, infrastructural development, and socio-economic progress in Kano State. With ongoing investments in healthcare, education, and infrastructure, his administration is laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.

The KSPPM reaffirmed its support for Governor Yusuf’s administration, urging all stakeholders to work together towards building a stronger and more prosperous Kano State.
