In an effort to address persistent power challenges affecting academic and administrative activities, the Kano State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the installation of streetlights and the provision of a brand-new 500KVA transformer to Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso.
Receiving the transformer, the Acting Provost of the College, Dr. Kabiru Ahmed Gwarzo, described the intervention as a testament to the government’s commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment. He expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the new transformer would significantly enhance the operation of laboratories, libraries, ICT facilities, and other essential services.

Dr. Gwarzo further stated that with the transformer now installed, the institution anticipates improved efficiency, productivity, and overall morale, reaffirming the State Government’s dedication to advancing education in the state.
