The Coaches, Drivers, and other officials, especially health officials who spent the whole week covering the tournament have expressed dissatisfaction.
Recall that on Saturday last week, the Kano state government paid State, Players, and Press Crew allowances after concluding the Second Edition National Para Games 2023 held in Abuja this Month.
The Independent Mirror reported that that week, the acting Chairman of Kano Sports Commission, Malam Bala Sani, said payment is part of an agreement reached between Kano Govt.
Malam Bala, who stated this when he confirmed the payment of other officials last week, also said the Kano state government will pay coaches, drivers, health officials, and Sports Commission staff funds as soon as possible this week.
But Yesterday 27 December 2023, Wednesday Deadline in an Exclusive by the Independent Mirror revealed that the Kano State Government failed to pay coaches, driver’s doctors, and other officials their allowances.
We tried to reach the Kano supervising commissioner for youths and sports, Safiyanu Hamza Kachako, but his phone is not reachable.
