Arising from the strategic meeting held with Heads of department, Area commanders as well as 44 divisional offices of the command, the State Commandant, NSCDC Kano command, Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala, fcna, has charged officers and men to brace up and ensure water-tight security during/after Christmas and New festivities in the State.
The state Commandant has since approved the deployment of 2,576 personnel billed to be posted to strategic places ranging from Christian worship centers and recreational spots for the hitch-free celebration of the Yuletide period. Moreso, special security attention will also be given to critical national assets and infrastructure; not unmindful of other security challenges that could come up during the period.

Officers and men of the command who were tasked to maintain vigilance will work in collaboration with personnel of the Nigerian Police for security and liaise with operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corp, KAROTA, and other sister security agencies for the free flow of traffic during and after the festive period.
