I write on behalf of members, and the Polytechnic Academic Community, to convey our heartfelt felicitations on your appointment as the Acting Rector, Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Abubakar Umar Faruk FCA, by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf on 4th December 2023, an appointment well deserved and long awaited.
Sir, we are overjoyed by this appointment considering your track record of commitment, credentials and credibility. We are also confident that you will, insha Allah, deliver on this gigantic task ahead.
It is on record that Kano State Polytechnic has for over a decade kept struggling to have its members appointed as the Chief Executive Officer. Today our dream has become a reality, not only by having a staff of the Polytechnic as Head, but also someone who doubles as an Alumnus of the Institution.
