The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has produced Godwin Emefiele, former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria before a FCT High Court.
Emefiele, who was last week transferred from custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), was brought to the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday.
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports that the court had on two occasions directed the EFCC to produce the former CBN boss in court or release him, an order the anti-graft agency disobeyed until now.

Justice Adeniyi gave the order after hearing an ex parte motion, marked M/122/2023 in a Motion on Notice with the number, FCT/HC/CV/040/2023, filed by Emefiele,.
He was first detained from June, when he was removed as CBN Governor, by the Department of State Service (DSS) and later transferred to EFCC, seeking his release.
He was surrounded by officials of the anti-graft agency, when he appeared in court on Wednesday, Nov 7.
