Members of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum are currently in a significant meeting with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
The meeting has taken place at Wike’s office in Abuja.
The delegation of governors, led by the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Muhammed, arrived at Nyesom Wike’s office at approximately 12:40 p.m.
Accompanying Governor Bala Muhammed were Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, Governor Caleb Muftwang of Plateau, and Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba.

Shortly after their arrival, Minister Nyesom Wike led the governors into a closed-door meeting.
This meeting is a part of efforts to address the ongoing crisis in Rivers State, which erupted on Monday. The crisis is reportedly related to alleged attempts to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.
