Rights activist and co-convener of #BringBackOurGirls, Aisha Yesufu, has reiterated her stance that President Bola Tinubu is not her president.
She expressed this view on Thursday through her X (formerly Twitter) account, following the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of Tinubu.
Yesufu, who supported Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, first rejected President Tinubu, when the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal upheld the Tinubu’s victory in September, a judgement both Abubakar Atiku and Peter Obi appealed in the Supreme Court.

But the appex court’s seven-man panel, presided over by Justice John Okoro, on Thursday, also upheld Tinubu’s victory in a verdict that declared the petition of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to lack merit.
Reacting, Yesufu said, “Let me repeat, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not my President.”
Aisha Yesufu, a vocal critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress and former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, continues to assert her stance on the matter.
