Unidentified gunmen have abducted Dr. Comfort Adokwe, a female lecturer in the Faculty of Administration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
She was abducted on Sunday, at her residence in Angwan Jaba, Keffi, the headquarters of Keffi Local Government Area.
The abductors, while shooting into the air, forcefully took her to an undisclosed location.
According to Daily Trust, the incident is happening barely two weeks after the kidnap of the deputy vice chancellor and four other students of the university.

Speaking about the disturbing trend of kidnappings and banditry in the state, a resident of Keffi Local Government Area, Musa Adamu, appealed to the federal government to enhance security measures to protect the state’s residents.
In a separate development, there was a positive outcome as the wife and daughter of a kidnapped professor, also taken on Sunday night, regained their freedom.
This release came after an undisclosed ransom was paid to their abductors on Monday night.
