Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi, known as Portable, has stirred the pot by accusing the late Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, of being a traitor.
Mohbad, who tragically died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, was a former signee of Naira Marley, the founder of Marlians music label.

Following Mohbad’s death, allegations of threats to life, cyberstalking, and other crimes against him, purportedly committed by Naira Marley, emerged on social media. These allegations were subsequently confirmed by the police through an investigation.
However, Portable, in a viral video on social media, expressed a contrary view, absolving Naira Marley of any wrongdoing in Mohbad’s demise and instead claimed that Mohbad met his unfortunate fate due to his own act of betrayal.
According to Portable, Mohbad had begun associating with Naira Marley’s opponents after leaving the Marlians music label, and it was these individuals who were allegedly responsible for his death.
According to him, there was no way Naira Marley could have killed Mohbad after helping to bring him to the limelight and grow his career.
He, however, prayed that God should vindicate Naira Marley, adding that he is a helper.

He said, “It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him.
“Don’t be so bad in case you want to see tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.
“The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped Naira Marley and Marlian music.
“When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone that built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about.”
