Supreme Court Reserves Judgment in Atiku’s Appeal Against Tinubu’s Election Victory

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has reserved its judgment in the appeal brought forward by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, challenging the outcome of the presidential election held on February 25, which saw President Bola Tinubu emerge as the victor.

A seven-member panel presided over the case, with members including John Okoro, Uwani Abba-Aji, Lawal Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Tijjani Abubakar, and Emmanuel Agim.

On Monday, both parties in the appeal presented their respective briefs of arguments, and the Supreme Court reserved its judgment for a later date.

Atiku, who represented the Peoples Democratic Party, has urged the Supreme Court to nullify Tinubu’s election as President of Nigeria.
