The Israel Government has said the bomb blast in al-Ahli Arab Hospital, Gaza, had killed “several dozen,” not hundreds as claimed by the Palestinian.
On Wednesday afternoon, a day after the blast at the hospital, Palestinian health authorities said 471 people had been killed.
Like other details about the incident, that is contested.

Israel’s foreign ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat said the death toll was “several dozen”.
However, with lack of access to the site for independent organisations, the number is difficult to verify.
