General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), has called on Nigerians to actively participate in combating insecurity by sharing credible information and intelligence with security agencies.
He maintained that the fight against insecurity is a collective responsibility, not solely that of the military.
During a working visit to the Operation Hadin Kai Theater Command, General Musa also issued a warning to Boko Haram and other terrorists operating in the North East, urging them to surrender or face elimination through both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches.
He stated, “If you see something, say something, do that together so that we will succeed in the war against insecurity. Fighting insecurity is not the responsibility of the military alone.”

General Musa expressed confidence that, with the support of God, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all stakeholders, the Nigerian military under his leadership is prepared to end terrorism, kidnapping, and other forms of criminality in the country soon.
Acknowledging the successes achieved against the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists, General Musa urged the troops not to relent but to remain committed and resolute until the war is completely over.
He reiterated the call for terrorists, kidnappers, and criminals to surrender or face the risk of being eliminated, emphasizing the military’s determination to restore peace throughout the country.

During a courtesy visit to Governor Zulum at the Government House, General Musa praised the Governor for his unwavering support to the military, which resulted in the surrender of thousands of Boko Haram members under his operations as the Theatre Commander of OPHK.
In response, Governor Zulum commended the CDS for his commitment, dedication, and God-fearing leadership. He pledged continued support for the military and other security agencies in the state.
