In a bid to enhance security within his emirate, the Emir of Birnin Gwari, Malam Zubairu Jibril, Maigwari Il, has given his approval for swapping of two district heads.
According to a statement released by the emirate council’s secretary, Mukhtar Salisu Muhammad, Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya Abubakar (Sarkin Kudun Birnin Gwari) has been reassigned from the Central District to the Kuyello District. Simultaneously, Alhaji Alhassan Alhassan (Ubandawakin Jarumawan Birnin Gwari) has been relocated from Kuyello District to Birnin Gwari Central District.
The directive mandates an immediate transition of responsibilities between the two district heads.

Upon assuming his role as the new District Head of Birnin Gwari Central, Alhaji Alhassan Alhassan (Ubandawakin Jarumawan Birnin Gwari) received a warm welcome from his family, friends, and well-wishers as he arrived at his new palace.
He expressed his commitment to contribute to the emirate’s development and pledged full support for any measures taken by the emir to address the prevailing security challenges in the region.
