Kano state Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has reassured the people of the state of his administration’s commitments towards making Kano a better place through the provision of meaningful human capital development projects.
He gave the assurance during the commencement of the 5th state Executive Council meeting at the council chamber of Government House, as contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Governor Yusuf said that his administration is committed to fulfilling electioneering campaign promises so that citizens will enjoy the impact of good leadership.
He noted that within the 100 days of his administration, a lot have been achieved particularly in the areas of Education, Health, Environment, Water Resources, Rural and Human Development as well as security among others.

He attributed the successes recorded to the collaborative support with the members of the state executive Council, people of the state, security agencies and members of the press who have been around rendering support to the government tirelessly.
While calling for the continues support from the people in the state, the Governor maintained that Kano remain the only place in his mind and always willing to see to it’s realistic development.
He said that the state government has in the last 3 days gagged off the distribution excercise of palliatives to people from the 44 local with a view to alleviating their sufferings in this present economic downturn.
He added that the government will initiate more viable ways that will benefit it’s teaming populace.
