Vice-President Kashim Shettima, accompanied by prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made their way to the Appeal Court, where the presidential tribunal was set to deliver judgments on three cases contesting the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.

This event takes place approximately one month after the court concluded hearings on the petitions and just two weeks before the expiration of the statutory 180-day timeline for resolving cases filed in March.

Inside the courtroom, Vice-President Shettima sits among other key APC figures, including Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling party; Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President; Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser; Festus Keyamo, Aviation Minister, and more.

Notably, the court also hosts at least four APC governors, namely Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), and Hope Uzodinma (Imo).

The presence of significant figures from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Iliya Damagum, acting National Chairman, and representatives of the Labour Party, underscores the gravity of this occasion.
