The Nigerian Armed Forces has on Friday, buried at least 20 officers and soldiers who were killed in action by terrorists in Niger State.
GOOD EVENING NIGERIA reports thaf the military last week disclosed that 36 personnel paid ultimate price during an ambush by the terrorists at Zungeru-Tegina road and the subsequent crash of military men-boarded jet that happened in Chukuba area of Shiroro, all in Niger State.
The mass burial was conducted at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja.
Present at that burial include the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru and his counterpart for State, Bello Matawalle as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, are on ground.

Other dignitaries include the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Yakubu Garba; the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Naval Staff, Emmanuel Ogalla; families and relatives of fallen heroes; among others.
Among the fallen soldiers are Private Habib Aliyu, who joined Armed Forces in 2020; Lance Corporal Nura Mohammed (joined in 2016); AB Suleiman with registration number X/1468; Lance Corporal Sunday Okopi (12NA/65/5192); Late Cpl Samaila Bashiru (12NA/68/5890) and 15 others.
