Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano, has issued a call to action for affluent individuals and business entities to direct their investments towards education, emphasizing its pivotal role in securing a prosperous future for children and the state as a whole.
The emir’s plea was articulated during a recent Qur’anic and school graduation event hosted by the Andal Science Academy in Kano over the weekend.
He stressed that meaningful progress in the education sector can only be achieved through substantial investment from individuals, particularly in light of the state’s burgeoning population.
In his address, the emir proposed that the establishment of secondary-level educational institutions could significantly alleviate unemployment challenges, generate job opportunities, and bolster the socio-economic advancement of the state.

Dr. Jibrila Muhammad, the school’s proprietor, provided insights into the institution’s journey. Established in 2014 with a mere 28 students and eight teaching staff, the Andal Science Academy has demonstrated remarkable growth.
Dr. Muhammad said the school has successfully graduated students who have achieved commendable academic performance both within Nigeria and abroad.
