He alleged that on the same date, some of defendants were arrested while been in possession of forged documents belonging to KAROTA.
According to the prosecutor, the offence contravened the provision of Sections 97, 393 and 321 of the Kano State Penal Code.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Counsel to the defendants, Mr Nazifi Rabiu, urged the court to grant the defendants bail pursuant to Sections 35 s (6), 36 (5) of the 1999 Constitution as amended and Section 171 (3) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law, Kano State 2019.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Halima Wali, however, ordered the remand of the defendants in a correctional centre and adjourned the matter to July 27, for ruling on their bail application.
