Umar Idris Shuaibu – Kano
The state Commandant, NSCDC Kano command, Comdt Mohammed Lawal Falala, FCNA received in his office the newly posted Commander, Nigerian Air force 455 Base Service Group, Kano, Group Captain M Suleiman.
The newly deployed Commander expressed his delight with warm reception accorded him and stressed that he’s at the NSCDC State HQ for a visit aimed at strengthening the already cordial working relationship with the Corps.
The Commander opined that the Corps plays a key role in providing security to lives and critical assets and infrastructure. “You’re now a force to reckon with, I commend you and I want to work closely with you in terms of intelligence sharing and comradeship. Nigeria Air force under my watch in Kano will give you all the necessary support for you to achieve your constitutional mandates”, the Base Commander said.

In his response, Comdt Mohammed Falala welcomed the commander and expressed his readiness to work in collaboration with the military who have always been supportive to civil defence operationally and in terms of manpower development.
“We’ll continue to work in synergy particularly in intelligence sharing for a better and more secured Kano. I also appreciate the kind invitation and offer of your facilities to civil defence”, Comdt Falala said.
The 455 Air force base service commander on arrival was honored with a quarter guard and musical performance by the Command’s Band Crew.
