Kano Pillars Football Club has bid farewell to the Evans Ogenyi-led technical crew as their contractual agreement came to an end.
The announcement was made in a press statement released by the club’s Media Officer, Alhaji Rilwanu Idris Malikawa. Daily Trust reported.
The dissolution of the technical crew aligns with the expiration of their contract, which concluded with the end of the 2023 Nigeria National League season.
Malikawa said the technical Crew’s contract with club was for one season which included the ongoing Naija Super 8 tournament in Lagos.
Having secured a second-place finish in the NNL, the team, known as ‘Sai Masu Gida,’ will now make their return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after a one-season absence.
The statement clarified that players whose contracts have expired should not return to the club’s camp unless specifically instructed to do so. In addition, any member of the dissolved technical crew interested in continuing to work with the club must submit their application to the club’s Secretariat.
The club’s management expressed gratitude to the technical crew and players for their contributions in advancing the club’s success throughout the recently concluded football season.
They extended their well wishes for success in all their future endeavors.
The resumption date for the players has been rescheduled to July 23, 2023.
